On May 24th, the European Respiratory Society (ERS), the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) and the Health Effects Institute (HEI) will host Clean Air in Europe for All – a one-day conference focused on air pollution.

The event will bring together international experts, policy makers, scientists and other key stakeholders to discuss the recently proposed revisions to the EU Ambient Air Quality Directive (AAQD), and it will offer the opportunity to identify remaining challenges and explore additional policy options.

According to the ERS, the key topics discussed across the day will include:

  • Health effects at low levels of exposure to pollution
  • The relative contributions of the different sources and constituents of air pollution
  • Best practice examples of successful air quality interventions
  • Maximising health benefits for everyone in Europe and beyond

Find out more here or contact Marta Montanari at ERS.
