The WASOG Conference 2023 will take place from June 19-21 in Stockholm

The WASOG 2023 conference will take place from June 19–21 2023, at Aula Medica, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. The conference theme is “Big data – How to move the field towards precision medicine” in Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILDs). The conference will bring the latest developments on disease mechanisms and treatment in IPF.

The scientific program (available here) will offer a variety of plenary lectures and scientific sessions in different disciplines. It also covers general topics which will be of interest to many: Clinical, Translational, Genetics, Epidemiology, Basic Research, Clinical Treatment and Therapy, and much more. Particularly, topics to be highlighted include:

  • Clinical updates and treatment options
  • New concepts on disease characterisation, phenotypes, and socioeconomic determinants
  • Big data, biobanks, and single-cell approaches
  • Immunological approaches and methods
  • Artificial intelligence applications towards Precision Medicine

During the three days conference, there will be rich activities, including symposiums, panel discussions, free communication, poster presentations, and an exhibition. Through these dynamic scientific and social events, attendees will have many opportunities to network and form potential collaborations with participants from all over the world.
